This is my new ride. I named it "Gabriel." I planned to get a Honda CBR 150 at first, but a friend has made me changed my mind and decided to get the Yamaha FZ16 instead. I have no regret in changing my plan, because I found this bike so amazing and the performance is great. The break-in period gave me quality time with the bike, and the feeling was so fascinating. Anyone can really fall in love with this bike. We have already traveled with our solo trips from
Cagayan de Oro to Balingoan, Initao, both in Misamis Oriental and Talakag and Maramag of Bukidnon province. Our latest tour was with our newly founded riding group, the
"FZ CLUB MINDANAO" last November 30, 2012 where we toured as far as Gingoog City and then traversed the 15 kilometers road going uphill Tiklas Falls.
It was a very exciting and thrilling ride with new-found friends from the cities of Butuan and Gingoog. We first met up in Duka Bay where we do bonding until lunchtime and traveled to Gingoog City afterwards. After some picture taking in the city proper, we later proceeded to Tiklas Falls. It's a nice and enchanting resort secluded on top of the mountain. The experience was so refreshing, and the air was freezing cold. We stayed there for about an hour before we proceeded back to Cagayan de Oro with 5 of my riding buddies from the
"City of Golden Frienship".
Our new group, the
"FZ CLUB MINDANAO," particularly those from the cities of Butuan and Gingoog plans to do a tour right here in Cagayan de Oro City this December. Consequently, hold the Christmas party for the group.
About 27 FZ riders initially applied for membership during our first tour and hoping to grow bigger and larger in the coming days. We are looking forward to other FZ riders who declared their intention to join the group, especially those from Dipolog, Davao and as far as from General Santos City.
